Happy New Years Ichua! 2008 was such a great year with the opening of Ichumon, advancements in the RPG Explorer, release of Personas and a wonderful Olemas! We are looking forward to a fun filled 2009 with loads of new features, pets, and so much more. Thank you to everyone including the best users ever!, the wonderful and talented Staff!, and even to Ole (who at times uses his ban hammer to hit me a few to many times lol). Ichumail has been given a nice update ^_^ It now uses Ajax(for the most part) and a lot of your suggestions have been added. You now get a Saved Box (to store any Ichumail you want to save) and a Sent Box, which stores all the messages you send. Also, composing a new Ichumail allows you to select directly from your buddy list. And as an added bonus, you now can store up to 100 Ichumails in your boxes (200 if you are premium). Enjoy

The RPG Explorer has been updated to now use Ajax! You can either click on the tiles or the compass and it will move you around the map without annoying page loads! I'm going to try and see if I can make a preloader to work for it too (so if the site ever lags you'll be able to see, instead of getting frustrated by clicking the tile and nothing happening )

In an attempt to give users the most freedom possible, Now when you activate a NEW user star/user icon and it will be added to your list so you can change them anytime you wish. Your current user star/user icon has been added to this list along with the default green star icon. This list can be seen in your profile settings located HERE of by going to the left side of your layout under Personal then clicking on Settings and finally clicking on the Edit Profile Icon. We hope you enjoy this new feature and that it will make the user stars/user icons a little more fun now.

We've updated a couple of the functions around the site today, which include your username tooltips. We have changed the border and removed some of the clutter on the overview. If you want to see this border on other things that use tooltips, just post the page in the news comments and I'll try and edit it the page for you . Also, you can now use some new iCode which allows you to post items. Type and replace itemname with the item you wish to display. It is all cached so it shouldn't slow down the site, even if you post 1000 Green Apples on a single space. The FrontPage also uses this method so you can view the newest items added to the site and know their properties. Finallyyy, the forum signature preview thing works. It'll convert your iCode into a real preview of what it will look like when you post. And that痴 about it- I think. Yep. 3rd time lucky ... ?

Woo, you may have noticed (if you haven't, you're blind) the Ichu Widget over to the right of your screen. This is a new thing we have been working on to allow for better customization of the site. The widget properties can all be disabled by going to your profile settings here. You can disable the sound(I believe it lags the page for each time it is played, so for those of you who are trying to restock or what-not, this may be a good option to disable). You can also disable the shoutbox (boo!) and the entire widget itself. Quicklinks appear on top of the Shoutbox, but soon you will be able to organise what goes where. If you have issues with hearing no sound, this can be due to either a) Disabling embedded scripts b)not having the required plug-in (Firefox users need QuickTime player). C) Some other error I do not know of In any case, it can be kinda annoying so it痴 no big loss

You can now go to your settings and edit where you would like the shoutbox to be. It is set as default to have the shoutbox in the widget, however, by clicking on settings and going to Edit Your Profile you can enable the shoutbox to be in the sidebar. Also, disabling the shoutbox in the widget now works. Regarding the auto-refresh, we have decided to make this a Premium-only feature, as it was causing massive lag. To refresh the shoutbox, you can just click the manual refresh link at the top of the sb And also changing shoutbox server should now work

The RPG has been updated to accommodate new cP rates. Monsters have been given max and min amounts of cP to give out so this should make fighting monsters at higher levels more motivating

Hey everyone. This is just a nice little update to let you know that i have changed the filter system (yes, again!) to only block whole words. What that means is that assume will no longer be blocked, but Blocked will. Also on another note, there is now a confirmation box that pops up if you click "Remove Ichie". That should stop the accidental removals of your ichies!

We are getting a little backed up and sorry for the delay. Also I want to note that some custom item requests will be getting ichu mails about there items mainly because of this reason. Up in till now, we have allowed users to make the type of item anything they want... but now it is getting out of control. People are asking for things like a turtle creature... that you would think is a ichie, but they want it to be a weapon. Im assuming this is a attempt to get the item they want but make it as valuable on the site as possible. This will end now. Please take in consideration the type of item you want and think.... is this a weapon... could it be a toy... what would a user think it is... The continuation of this will start to confuse users restocking items and think we put them in the wrong shop. As stated some users WILL be getting ichu mails about this and how they want there item to be treated in its creation. Thank your for your time and understanding our view on this.

It seems lately I have been making a lot of news posts, huh? Well, unlike the other ones this one is not a good thing. I just want to remind everyone please DO NOT cheat, or even think about cheating. This means don't use any sort of program to auto refresh, complete tasks for you, or anything of that sort. I honestly feel bad about banning people who are caught cheating, but in the end they earned the ban. So I'm begging you, please, please do NOT cheat.
