 This coming Sunday at 9 AM Ichu Time, we will be holding a chat room with Ichumon Staff! I'll definitly be there, and hopefully some of the other staff will come along too. This is going to hopefully be a weekly discussion to chat about all things to do with Virtual Pets. You can ask questions, raise concerns to staff or generally just chat about whats been going on.     Look at the eggs! To get egg layers you much crush the GIANT EGG OF DOOM. also there will be other ways to get the layers soon. You can crush the egg HERE! EDIT: To create an egg, you need one of the solid color bases.    Add it to your layers, then you can add other designs and design your egg. Your task is to basically hit the Snap button before any other user does, when there is a match in cards. Each game starts at the start of each hour and anyone can join for 5,000 iP. | The current Writing Competition has ended! Here are the winners: 1st place: "Origin of the Mushroom Shops" by Skitty. Using an existing item to help explain how the most-visited places in Ichumon came to be, Skitty expresses originality, creativity, and tongue-in-cheek humor in this plausible and entertaining story. What else is a hungry Arro to do when grub-hunting just doesn't fill the belly? This short story that suggests a lot more than it tells, and gives its details with warmth and realism, is a deserving winner. 2nd place: "The Fall of Kurana" by Ruin. This bittersweet, haunting story with a lesson inherent in the contemplative ending is told from the point of view of a citizen of Ichua's dark moon. This somber tale incorporates celestial guardians that shape the future of a world and its inhabitants, and reveal that Ichua's moon is hardly a moon at all. 3rd place: "Matter and the Void" by Sonzai. Sonzai's story uses descriptive imagery and the age-old concept of opposing yet balancing forces to explore how Ichua was created. Anthropomorphizing lava flow as blood was a particularly nice touch that all the judges enjoyed. It is a sad tale of war and sacrifice, out of which a planet with all its beauty and diverse life blossomed. Congratulations to the winners! This week's competition takes the form of a sonnet. A sonnet is a fairly rigorous type of poem that requires 14 lines in iambic pentameter rhythm and the following rhyme scheme: abab cdcd efef gg The site writers (Melissa, Monstuh, LauraX, and Fallarin) are available to help with sonnet structure if you need it. Write your sonnet about your favorite item or pet on Ichua. The contest closes on April 24. Good luck! |

  Ok everyone, I have updated the new Ichie Trading Code system. It fixes the text positioning error so now even if the name is "My Ichie Is The Coolest!" it will still show up centered. The current Writing Competition has ended! Here are the winners: First place: "For the Love of One Penny" by Aion The subject of Aion's sonnet is an ichie who runs away and is lamented by her owner. This poem manages to tell a sad, cute little story in just 14 lines that never gets overly sentimental or sappy. The judges loved the way Aion has mastered the ability to end a line but continue the sentence without interrupting the rhyme scheme; not an easy thing to do! Second place: "Appletastic" by Sonzai Sonzai addresses the rather mundane subject of Green Apples with flair and effortless style. The rhythm is deceptively simple, because following the mechanics of writing a true sonnet, as Sonzai did, is not easy. Read this, and you might even find yourself hesitating, or at least smiling, the next time you send your apples to the Shredder. Third place: "Ode to the Poo Icon" by OnceUponAThyme With a good sense of rhyme and meter, Thyme tells what it feels like to covet, and finally own, one of the funniest Cash Shop items of all time. Her poem is hilarious, too; it had us all laughing, especially the two final lines. This week's subject is a fable. You may write about any type of pet, ichie, item, NPC, or place in Ichua, as long as your fable ends, as Aesop's do, with a lesson or moral. A post will be up shortly in the Writers' Forum to remind everyone of the subject and to let you all share your ideas or ask questions. The deadline for this competition is Friday, May 8. Lets get the bad news out first lol... It seems the Crusade Arena Shop has ran out of the Scythe of Corek to sell, so it has been retired  . On a more positive note, the Food Shop has a small assortment of new Corek themed treats.    If your into the chillier treats, then hit up the Frosty Treats shop.  Everyone likes toys right? Well here are a few for the evil child geniuses, found at the Toy Pen.   Some clever smugglers seem to have escaped Coreks Tower with some new weapons!
